The Border Chilli at the top left is the one from last week which bent over due to the sun from one side. Just look how it has grown straight again. I think it could be the tallest plant i have so far.

The most exciting photo i have this week is of one of the Ring of Fire plants. It has a small flower bud on it i am surprised to see it so early. Please click the picture its a great photo.

In the previous post i was worried about one of the plants drooping over. I thought it would be best to seperate it from the group and place it on the window sill. It turned out that all the plant needed was some sunlight from the other side. Its now facing up perfectly straight :-)

Typical rookie mistake...
It turns out that the sun was all that was needed to make the plant stand upright again. I now realise i need to turn them around every so often, I was doing this before, but since they are in a new location (conservatory) i thought they would be getting light from all directions.

So know need to worry after all! A rather novice mistake but i'm still learning.....

I noticed that one of the Border Chillis has started to droop over to one side rather dramatically .. I am going to post a message on the Chillis Galore forums and ask them if they know how to prevent it. Here take a look see what you think......

If all goes to plan this is what the Chillis should look like:

Preperation:

Plastic bags to contain the mess that could be made

35 - five inch pots

2 bags of John Innes soil based No:3 compost.

Plastic ground sheets (protects against mess)

Rubber gloves

It is all in the perperation if you are going to do this indoors. If you make a mess you will be in the dog house.

Helping Hands!

Another trip to the garden centre to get some more pots!

I thought i'd leave a Demon Red on the window sill, don't worry it is not too lonley it has 12 tomato plants and lots of herbs to keep it company!

Two Bhut Jolokia and one Red Savina with a Sweet Pepper( I gave one of the Red Savina's to a friend) the sweet pepper is on the left and seems to be doing really well with its cousins.

An artistic shot of a Red Savina. Click on the picture for a better resolution!
