This weeks update brings with it an attack of the Aphids! The bloody things destroyed my Naga Morich. Well.... not entirely true , you see when i say they destroyed it i am also partly to blame for it's untimely demise.
When i first noticed the Naga (to the left) was under attack from Aphids it turned out i didn't need to worry as much as i inititally did.

With out much thought or guidence i got the Chemical fly and insect killer out and started to spray the plant. All i could think about was getting rid of those pesky blyters.

Sure it did the job and my Naga was rid of it's former inhabitants.
If only i had stopped to think, if only because now the Naga looks like this;

In a frenzy i tried picking the Green Fly off, as you can see when you enlarge the photos the poor plant has taken a beating in the process. Just when you thought it couldn't get much worse, i didn't dry off the excess and as a result it dripped onto the baby Bhut Jolokia burning it in the process.
Not bad for a weeks work of destruction! I feel like a chilli murderer!

You can see from the picture on the right ... all the buds dropped off and died Ihad to pluck alot of leaves. It looks like the leaves have gone a yellowish colour too... It was a harsh lesson to learn, when all i needed to do was wash the plant down riding it of the Aphids.
This all happens when i just thought i was getting good at this Chilli growing lark
What good news do i have?
This for a start!
Look at this Border Chilli Flower!

It looks really strange, notice how many petals it has. Not the normal 5 it has 10! I wonder if it will breed some kind of mutant chilli!
Lets see how those Ring of Fire Chilli's are comming on. I counted 15 on their this morning.

They look really good even if i do say so myself. These firey fruits have to get to 4 inches in length before they turn red apparently. Every day it seems to be producing more and more Chillis!

The other plants are comming on nicely but not as well as this.....

The Spagna and the Border Chilli have also started to produce, things are heating up people things are heating up!

I thought you might like to see a Spagna flower first.
